Romanian Hijaz is a variation of the standard Hijaz harmonic minor scale, and dropping the central note an octave to E2 offers an intense and brooding base note to an already spicy scale. Additional bottom notes fill in the gaps of this Middle Eastern sounding scale, giving you every note from E3-A4.
